Totally epic book!

For sixteen years Ivy had been kept behind the dull walls of her bedroom of the stinking kitchen. The only thing she ever enjoyed there was laying out in the slurry fields, watching and drawing the sunset or meeting up with her only friend (who was a dwarf). But one day when she is kicked out of the only home she had ever known and thrust into a whole new world... she discovers things she didn't even know existed. But even through the first weeks a question is becoming more and more important, Will she be able to not get expelled? but with the risks she's taking now, the consequences could be much worse.
Review
D.E. Night‘s Crowns of Croswald is one of the best books I’ve read this year. I’d say number four on my list, Xav’s Favs! I think my favorite character is definitely Ivy, I mean she is sort of hard to not like, she’s totally a daredevil! The reason I like her soo much is because you can never ahead of time figure out what she’s about to do until she’s actually doing it. She just makes the entire story more interesting and hard to predict. I definitely give it five stars but think it is more of a YA book than MG, so I’d say 12+.
The book is about a girl named Ivy who has worked in as a scaldrony maid for the last sixteen years thinking this was her destiny. But she has magic in her blood. And now she has to navigate through first year at the Halls of Ivy (magic school) without, 1. putting herself in danger, and 2. being expelled. Though those two thing may seem extremely easy to accomplish, that’s not true for Ivy.
P.S. I just found out there is another book in the series! OMG! I am geeking out right now!
This an extremely good book, a great book in fact, for audiences who love a darn good magical book! š
Here is my very own book trailer and it is the first I have ever made…;) I hope you enjoy:
