Russia is on the brink of great change. Pasha’s coronation approaches, and Vika is now the Imperial Enchanter, but the role she once coveted may be more difficult—and dangerous—than she ever expected.
Pasha is grappling with his own problems—his legitimacy is in doubt, the girl he loves loathes him, and he believes his best friend is dead. When a challenger to the throne emerges—and with the magic in Russia growing rapidly—Pasha must do whatever it takes to keep his position and protect his kingdom.
For Nikolai, the ending of the Crown’s Game stung deeply. Although he just managed to escape death, Nikolai remains alone, a shadow hidden in a not-quite-real world of his own creation. But when he’s given a second chance at life—tied to a dark price—Nikolai must decide just how far he’s willing to go to return to the world.
With revolution on the rise, dangerous new magic rearing up, and a tsardom up for the taking, Vika, Nikolai, and Pasha must fight—or face the destruction of not only their world but also themselves.
Review
An amazing and captivating finale to The Crown’s Game series by Evelyn Skye. The Crown’s Fate had me in its grip from the first few chapters. I fell in love with this book and when I read the final words I immediately looked up if Evelyn Skye had any other books. Though they aren’t out right now I found out that she is currently writing a duology. But the first book doesn’t come out until January 22nd 2019! What will I do?!?!
The Crown’s Fate follows Vika the new Imperial Enchanter, Pasha the soon-to-be-king of Russia, and Nikolai the…well I’m not sure. They all, though some times it seems they’re on different sides, are fighting for what they believe is right. And on top of that, their beloved world is practically falling apart beneath them. So the whole story is very intense with much suspense and nerve-racking mysteries.
Evelyn Skye is an amazing author and officially one of my favorite. I can’t wait for her new duology and I recommend this series to everyone, the age of 12 and up. It is just so good!
